Workforce scope aligned with Pakistan to Saudi Arabia operating conditions

Translate the Saudi job into testable criteria
Begin with the employer-approved job description, equipment, materials, work environment, safety rules and expected output. Convert each mandatory duty into observable evidence, then separate essential criteria from trainable preferences. A generic test cannot establish suitability for every site. The assessment plan should identify the task, time, tools, permitted assistance, safety stop rules and the evidence the Saudi employer expects to review.
Complete identity and experience screening first
Match the candidate to the submitted identity record, CV, employment history, certificates and licences before the practical test. Record unexplained gaps or inconsistencies for employer review instead of filling them with assumptions. Screening should confirm consent, role interest, location, contract understanding and availability for the planned process, but it must not present selection, a visa or mobilisation as guaranteed.
Use safe, role-specific practical assessments
Welders may be assessed on preparation, process control, joint quality and safety; electricians on isolation, measurement, wiring discipline and fault finding; mechanical technicians on inspection, alignment or assembly; and operators on checks, controls and hazard awareness. Tests should be run by competent assessors in a controlled environment with appropriate PPE and equipment. Stop any unsafe action and record why.
Score evidence consistently
Use the same scorecard, pass threshold and critical-failure rules for candidates applying to the same role. Preserve assessor identity, date, task conditions, observations, measurements and employer decision. Photos or video should be used only with consent and secure handling. A final score should not hide a safety failure or missing mandatory licence; show both the total and the individual critical criteria.
Keep employer approval separate from assessment
A trade-test result is evidence for a decision, not the decision itself. The Saudi employer should confirm the selected, reserve and unsuccessful lists and any conditions before document processing starts. Record candidate consent again when material terms change. If a retest is allowed, define when, why and how it differs, and prevent informal substitutions after the employer has approved the identity and result.
Handover a concise evidence pack
The employer evidence pack should link the role brief, candidate identity reference, screening outcome, test version, scorecard, critical observations, interview result and approval status. Limit personal data to what the authorized reviewer needs and transfer it securely. Use clear version control so a superseded scorecard, older CV or different candidate photograph cannot be mistaken for the approved record.
